Hum what is a Green-Dog Dem
Well it seems I need to give a better explaination. Green-Dogs (stupid blogg didn't let me put in the Hypen) are Democrats that tend not to fix into one box they maybe just as likely to side with one side of the spectrum on one issue as they do on another, or simply not care about an issue at all. It's a group of Democrats that simply is neither Blue,nor Yellow nor Orange. But, most of us tend to be to the Left of the Blue Dogs but the Right of the Orange dogs(dean democrats). But whatever postitions we care about we tend to defend it rabidly. We are the "real" Middle of the Democratic party.

So a Green Dog Dem is essentially a moderate? I know you don't like anything that ends in cc. How do you feel about something that ends in dlc? And why are Dean Dems considered orange? Those are fightin' words to an Irishman.

A real Moderate not the Blue dog misuse of the word Moderate. Blue Dog are for all intents and purposes the Conservative wing of the Democratic party. Some of the Blue dogs are on the outer edge maybe Green-Dogs but most of them are the far Right end of the Party.

Thanks for the reference. I think I am a cross between a Bulldog Dem and Shi Tzo Dem, a Bullshit Dem. (Got that from Dumb & Dumber). Actually I am probably closest to being a Cheshire Cat Dem.

I'm trying to identify and form a coalition of border security democrats - the #1 issue and threat to America - but also against bush and his wars and for a full 9/11 investigation Progressive on many issues but for gun rights too.
Are any of these DOG democrats in tune with that.

Green Dogs are democrats that are still afraid to leave the Democratic party and join the Greens because someone told them that Nader caused Gore to lose. Once they realize Bush caused Gore to lose by cheating and Gore caused Gore to lose by quitting, they'l run to us with open arms, and we'll be waiting. http://gp.org

from the state of Arizona lost the 2008 presidential election.
